Documentation
Get started with u8r.net profiles, file storage, music, and your account.
Getting started
Registration requires an invite code. Join our Discord community to ask about access, then register from the homepage. Once signed in, your dashboard is the place to set up your page.
Customize your profile
Make your page your own with a bio, avatar, banner, links, widgets, and visual styles. Supported images and GIFs can be uploaded and adjusted in the editor. Some appearance options require Premium.
File storage
Free accounts have 50MB of file storage; Premium accounts have 2GB. Upload supported files, share their links, and manage your storage from the dashboard. Upload limits are shown in the site. Keep your own backups.
Custom domains
Custom domains are available to all accounts, not just Premium. Connect a domain you own through the dashboard and follow the setup instructions shown there.
Mail and account emails
Use Inbox to send and receive emails with an address based on your username, such as username@u8r.net. You can also message other site users. Formatted messages, inline images, and supported attachments are available. PDF, PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, AVIF, and plain-text downloads are limited to 10 MB each, with image previews up to 5 MB. Other file types are blocked from downloading; provider files may expire. Outgoing attachments are limited to 5 files and 5MB per message; attachment storage is subject to your account allowance. Outside email depends on domain setup; check your inbox for availability. Account emails still go to your registered email address. Designated administrators can review incoming and outgoing mail and manage inbox access.
Music and connected accounts
Add music to your page and show supported connected-account widgets. Available options are listed in your dashboard. New Spotify account linking is currently unavailable.
Account security and privacy
Manage your account and connections in settings. Self-service account deletion is currently unavailable; contact the operator on Discord for help or deletion requests. Keep your password private and remember that published profiles and shared media are public.
